Brains On Overload

I was reading something interesting about human long term memory being like a hard drive on a computer. I know for me, my computer hard drive is full of things I probably don't need to save and that do nothing but clog it up and weigh it down. We as humans, are built the same way. My training in RIM® (Regenerating Images in Memory) has allowed me to help people find and remove those "unwanted" files in order to move beyond the past and live their best lives. If you would like more information or just want to ask about RIM®, please call 517-290-1329 or message me here!

Breathing in the Mountain Air

I just returned from a four day personal retreat in Colorado with the founder of RIM®, "Dr. Deb" Sandella and seven other people from around the world.  Let me just say that Dr. Deb is crazy good at what she does.

My biggest take away is how my body knows me better than I do.   I learned that I have buried experiences and emotions inside me and the only thing I was aware of is that I was feeling distress in my life.  The RIM® process has allowed me to access those feelings on a deep, cellular level and release those unnecessary emotions.....it's almost as if they evaporated, leaving me feeling demonstrably lighter.  The entire process brought me more peace than I have felt in a long while.   That peace was there all along, I just had to remove the blocks that were stopping me from feeling it.  It can be that way for you, too.

During the retreat, I remember going outside, seeing the vivid changing colors on the trees, feeling the sun warming my  face and breathing in the mountain air.  I paused in that moment and embraced all the beauty I felt inside.   I am grateful for  the experience I had in Colorado and its profound effect on my life.

Story Time With Martha

I remember a time so dear to me when I attended a "Journey Within" weekend with my spiritual mentor, Martha Creek.  The group of adults I was sharing the weekend with  gathered around Martha like children as she read us the following book:

YOUR JOURNEY
There is a journey awaiting you
It comes in truth and promise
When you reach the point of not knowing who you are or where to go
This most precious but often painful passage is the journey of yourself
You will travel to places never before visited,
Where you meet unspoken fears and unearth buried truths
You will climb high and perilous mountains...those that rise up from inside yourself
You will explore forgotten waters held deep in the sea of your soul
You will be stranded in the wilderness and find a way through pathless land
You will be lost before you are found...You will be empty before you are full
You will cry the deep sobs of the earth and tears of rain will cleanse the house around your heart
In time...because life, like birth and death, knows its own time
Your fears and struggles and unknowing will be transformed
You will become a mountain place where eagles soar
You will become a reflecting pool which sees and knows the mysteries of your life
Your heart will be light like a butterfly as you follow the currents of its true desires
The flight of the honeybee will be yours as you seek the nectar of what brings sweetens to your daily life
Most of all you will become who you truly are
Your life will hold truth and promise and meaning
And the heart of the heavens will hold your heart.
by Susan Squellati Florence

I was reminded of this story after I began my journey with RIM.  I often say, "RIM found me."  I had never heard of RIM before when I was given some information about it from a friend.  Who knew where my journey was going to take me?  After reading the literature, I immediately booked a RIM session with Master Facilitator, Michael Kline. RIM has helped me uncover some places where I was blocked and it is helping me remember who I truly am.
